Interactive Virtual Sushi Making Class
Let’s learn how to make sushi rolls with ingredients you have at home!
In this class, we are going to teach you how to make your own creative sushi rolls with a few simple ingredients that are usually kept in the normal household. Even if you don’t have the usual sushi ingredients at home, you can make simple sushi rolls with ingredients for sandwiches.
Let’s take an advantage of this quarantine period to learn a new cooking skill or for enjoying family time together. Also, you can use our class for your kids’ virtual birthday parties, or remote cooking activities with friends you cannot see in person.
Here are a few things you need to prepare for the class:
- Makisu (sushi mat for rolling) (Click here to purchase on Amazon!)
- Disposable gloves
- Cutting board
- Wet towel
- Small bowl with water
- Sushi Nori (seaweed)
- Sushi Vinegar
- Cooked Rice (3 cups of uncooked rice per participant)
- Ingredients you’d like roll in your sushi (omelet, cucumber, avocado, salmon, smoked salmon, cream cheese, tuna salad, ham, lettuce, sesame seeds, whatever you’d like!)
**The class will be held via the Zoom Video Conferencing application, a private Zoom link will be sent to participants before the class begins. Classes are held in Eastern Time.
